Shipping CEO Philip Adkins finds himself unemployed after his company was caught making shady deliveries to Russia.

As the war in Ukraine drags on, the West continues to slap sanctions on Russia, punishing not just its flashiest oligarchs but also the quiet opportunists and profiteers around the world.

The growing list of sanctioned entities now includes a Singapore-incorporated shipping company called Red Box Energy Services, previously helmed by the American-born businessman Philip Jeffrey Adkins.
